Sapa/Tam Duong/Ban Hon/Sapa (L, G)

 

You will start early by heading uphill to Heavens Gate pass by car, where you will make a stop and enjoy the views from the top. From there, you’ll drive downhill on the winding mountain road to Tam Duong. Upon arrival in Tam Duong, the car will turn into a dirt road which leads to the point where you’ll dismount and start your hike. You’ll follow tea fields until you reach a viewpoint from where you’ll have a fantastic view down to the valley. The morning walk boasts a wide valley, spotted with limestone hills. You will pass through several villages of Flower Hmong and Giay minorities until you eventually stop for lunch with a local family.

After lunch, you will follow a small and of beaten trail to the Lu village of Ban Hon, where you will be able to visit the village and learn about the daily life of the hill tribe. In the late afternoon, a road trip will take you to Sapa. Trip ends.
